Astonishing Theatrical Trailer For Gerard Johnson’s ‘TONY’
A few days ago I posted a new clip from the acclaimed new drama out of London, as well as the original teaser trailer. The teaser itself wasn’t very exciting, but now the full length trailer is here, and I’m beginning to see why there’s so much hype behind this flick. It looks downright unnerving; a slow, calculating thriller illustrating the progression of a man’s descent into violence. And my God does the trailer feel cold. This film sounds absolutely brutal as far as the effect it seems to have on audiences, and I for one could not be more excited. Apparently, QuietEarth also have an interview with the director that they will be releasing soon. I’ll be sure to re-post this as soon as it comes out, so keep watching for more news on Tony. Check the synopsis below from QuietEarth and the trailer above.
Tony is a loner with an unhealthy obsession for action films, but that doesn’t stop him trying to make friends – with, for instance, the drug dealers who hang out near his home, and the ladies who advertise their services in call boxes. Neighbors, TV license inspectors, gay cruisers and junkies are all welcome at Tony’s flat… as long as they behave themselves. But when a local child goes missing, his odd lifestyle begins to attract attention – and his secrets must surely be exposed.
