Sweet Poster and First Trailer For Horror Flick ‘Nightscape’

I found this little guy over at QuietEarth today. While the trailer is definitely impressive, with some fantastic visuals and awesome effects, the acting (what little is shown) is atrocious. I can let that go though, some of my favorite films have horrific acting and ended up being some of the most disturbing things I’ve ever watched (Elephant). Nighscape looks like a decent lofi psychological horror that’s gonna take us back to the days of early Cronenberg or Carpenter, while giving us something entirely fresh and new at the same time. Check out the synopsis below and the trailer at the bottom of the post.

In Nightscape, three high school seniors are drawn into a world of living nightmares. Exposed to a frightening creature of unknown origin, the teens unexpectedly gain paranormal powers. As these powers grow and change the trio suspect they’ve become hapless pawns in a larger war between ancient forces of good and evil.
