First Footage For ‘Hesher’ Is Online
Spencer Susser took home all sorts of awards and received plenty of praise for his 2008 short film I Love Sarah Jane, a movie about romance during the zombie apocalypse. It’s a clever little film too, stretching an extremely modest budget to a point where the film comes off as having very high production value. The film was loved by all, and it came as no surprise that Susser was recruited for directed a feature length project immediately after. The result is his upcoming drama Hesher, a story of the lonesome, greasy haired, tattoo covered Joseph Gordon Levitt and his encounter with a boy by the name of T.J. I’ve been hearing good things about the film so far, and the footage below provides an even better insight. Take a look for yourself. Hesher premieres this month at Sundance, and most likely will pick up wide distribution after that.
