Two Awesome Clips From ‘Buried’
I’m a little late posting this one, the clips came out last week, but this flick has been getting so much attention at Sundance that I felt obligated to write a quick piece on it. The movie looks and sounds fantastically intriguing. I’m not going to come right out and say that it looks incredible, because an entire movie of Ryan Reynolds trapped in a coffin has the potential to get a little tedious, but it is definitely intriguing. What I’ve been hearing so far though is all positive, and the buzz surrounding it is only making me more curious. The trailer came out a few weeks back and gave us a brief look at some of Reynold’s acting, which honestly looks like it may be the finest of his career. He’s a difficult actor to track these days, popping up in obscure titles all over the place and somehow still managing to find his way into cheesy romantic comedies or any of the forgotten, generic science fiction flicks that come out at any given time during the year. Occasionally, however, he stands out in a film, showcasing the great acting skills that he honestly does have. I like that about him, he’s made it difficult to acquire real fans, but those who are know his true potential. I’ve included a synopsis of the film below, and the clips at the bottom of the post. Take a look for yourself and see if you’re as interested as I am.
